Cradle Catholic, attended Catholic grade school and high school, and then the seminary college for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Earned a B.A. in philosophy in 1972, went for one semester of theology, discerned that I was not being called to the priesthood. Married 44 years with only one son, the Lord chose not to give us more. Ordained a deacon in 1994. Retired in 2019 from secular position as computer help desk tech. Still functioning as a deacon at my parish.
St. Pio of Pietrelcina died on my 18th birthday.
